GET WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING

Hear ye children the instruction of a father
and prepare to know understanding
For I will give you good doctrine, forsake
not my laws, this I am demanding

For I was my father’s son, tender and
only beloved in the sight of my mother
He taught me also and said unto me, let
your heart retain my words and no other

Keep my commandments alive and live
Get wisdom, and understanding, forget it not
Neither decline from the words of my mouth
Wisdom is the principal thing you’ve got

Therefore get wisdom and with all your getting
get understanding, exalt her and she will promote thee
She will honor you when you embrace her
with a crown of glory that all can see

(Proverbs 4:1-9)
