THE OTHER "YES"!

From the point of salvation, on, until the time that we make our final transition, there is, or should be a reversal of our responses to the things in our lives, and those that comprise our world. There are certain,behaviours and activities that we were once very gung-ho about, and at the very thought of engaging in them we began to smile, nod our heads, and say "YES"! For some of you, it may have been the image of a nicely rolled, fat "philly blunt or sessamil". while for others it may have been "HIM" with the "8 pack(6 PERFECT ABS, AND TWO "TO GO")", and the really nice "summer rolls", or "her", with the 28 inch waist and the big bowed legs. From the day we surrendered our whole,hearts,minds, bodies, and souls to Christ, our response to those same temptations, "pleasures", and activities should be an unequivocal "NO"!, and we should be able to do so, denying ourselves willingly, and with great joy and peace, and without feeling like we've done God a favor,or feeling deprived! By parallell, there are other matters that we always responded negatively to, that were for the saving of our souls, that should now be replaced by a resounding, "YES", and in the early stages of salvation,while we are still "in love with Jesus", when we haven't,yet, had to go down to Gethsemane, or be "nailed to the cross" and ,we are so "amped" when it comes to anything that remotely has J-E-S-U-S in it, that anything anybody asks us to do, we sign up for it, and affirm our will to do so with a "YES"!! This is the stuff that warms a Pastor's heart, but also causes us to observe with great caution, because we know that that "YES" is about to get weaker and weaker, until it's bearly audible,and there's a possibilty, that such a great tidal wave of tribulation may come upon them, until that once exuberant "YES" has reverted back into silence, or a very stubborn , confused, and depressed "NO"! The Lord appreciates our early "YES", and He is blessed by the ones we manage to utter through our tears, during our initial storms,and disasters that come to "make" us into vessels of honor,with integrity, and moral standards, but there's another "YES" that will part the heavens ,and send the devil running for cover,because it will explode his equilibrium, and throw all of his deceptive, and destructive plans off kilter, because it's the absolute last thing you're supposed to say, he wants you to say,or expects you to say,and so, therefore, he's not prepared for the power of your "other" YES! There is a "YES" stored up in your soul, that was provided for you, as a safety valve in case of emergency, sort of like a floatation device, in case your personal "ark of safety" ever capsized, and you found yourself "back-peddling" and in danger of ship wreck. It's not that "yes" you managed to pray up when your Mother passed away,and it's not that "YES" you travailed your way through, when you discoverred, the crack pipe in your son's or even your mate's sock drawer. No, there's that "Other YES", that's unrelated to the ordinary trials of this world, those that we all must journey through at some point in life,but there are spiritual circumstances, opposition, assault, attacks, ambushes in the spirit, and demonic "gut punches", that come to paralyze your very thoughts and mind, and strike terror in your heart! These are those things found in the "horrible pit" that David testified about being glad to have been delivered from. Your "horrors" may not be mine, because what you percieve as a "horror" I may discern to be a "blessing" but there are customized acts of absolute destruction and mayhem aassigned to everone of our lives, and they come to choke the "YES" out of you, and to have you in such great despair,that all you can manage is NOOO, GOD, NOOOO!", but you've got to reach from way down within, even while your heart feels like it's losing it's rhythm with God, and Words are like "rocks" trapped in your throat, you've alrerady cried a "tsunami",and your spirit is so low you've got to "look up just to see your feet", and open up your mouth, if you're only able to release a whisper of 'yes"! The more you part your lips, and crush the devil's spine with a whispered "yes", Lord", the stronger you'll find yourself growing,and the more you persevere, even though you look like a "refugee from a foreign war and", a tortured P.O.W., that "OTHER YES" is transforming you and realigning your "spiritual cervical, and lumbar discs" , and giving you the oil of joy,and the garment of praise! You're right in knowing,that that mind-binding demon that came to make you mentally ill, like your Mama, or that violation of your body you had to endure at the hands of a rapist, or that baby you lost in the fire, or the fact that you found out your mate was cheating on you with a man AND A WOMAN, or that report that you got about the "lump" in your breast, is all what you did not deserve, but Christ did not deserve the cross either , but at the moment, when all of our present lives, and the life to come ,hung in the balance, or on the cross with Him, He reached way beyond the "YES" of agreement to leave His heavenly kingdom,and come down to earth to be the Propitiation of our sins, and He pulled out the "OTHER YES", that the Father had packed in His little "divine knapsack" for this precise moment, and as He gave up the Ghost, He released a " Daddy, I really would rather not, if this thing could be done any other way, but since it can't, and it is for this reason that I came, I commend my Spirit unto you, and My Soul says YESSS!!" to the will of His Father that has changed the course of History and this world, and He left behind this same power for you, in your blackest midnight,and greatest sore travail, to match Him "letter for letter", with a devil conquering, yoke destroying "other" Y-E-S-, LORD!!

Glory to GOD in the highest!!!! YES!LORD! YES! LORD! in the worst of times (still,the best time cause HE was/is there) not enough parts left to my heart to break,can't hold two thoughts together for more than a moment,body under painful assault,and everything in between/beyond,is when HE asked me,"do you trust me?" not, hold on help is on the way,peace be still,this battle is not yours,& etc.,no, none of those desperately needed @ the time things .HE merely asked me ,"do you trust me?" i don't know how,don't know where, but,then as now, i said,"YES" bless you my sister,for this blog today,may all who read it be blessed and remember yes LORD in all that we do and say. bless you for the heart/love displayed in your writings.
