How many folks ever heard of a ritual that can transform a man into a God?

I never take credit for someone else work this is from Dan Brown new book The Lost Symbol. I'm reading the book right now. I think it's a great book.

Do men have the ability to brake free from his earthly plan and ascend upward toward heaven, toward the golden sun, and ultimately, toward the supreme source of illumination?

What I just described is one of history's ancient symbols. The structure through which man elevated himself into the realm of the Gods making himself a God.

But in todays lodges what they are doing is collecting due money & charitable donations from members that's middle class & up. Anyone that can afford to move up in degrees have the power over the members that can't move up in degrees.

Yes. If a man keeps the commandments of God until death, then he shall recieve the Promise of Eternal Salvation, which is ruling with God as Gods in his kingdom at his second coming. Didn't the scriptures say that the government will be on his shoulder?

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

That wasn't the ritual practice I was speaking of and neither is the following at the bottom from the Dan Brown book the Lost Symbol. I may post it at a later time. Again, I wasn't speaking in the after life, but in this life.

Briefly in Dan Browns book The Lost Symbol it reads,"If we accept, as Genesis tells us, that, 'God created man in his own image,' than we also must accept what this implies-that mankind was not created inferior to God. In Luke 17:20 we are told, "The kingdom of God is within you.' "

They go on to say, "Christians want it both ways. They want to be able to proudly declare they are believers in the Bible and yet simply ignore those parts they find too difficult or too inconvenient to believe."
