YIREMEYAHU 10

DO NOT LEARN THE WAY OF THE GENTILES (HEATHEN) AND DO NOT BE AWED BY THE SIGNS OF THE HEAVENS, FOR THE GENTILES ARE AWED BY THEM.

FOR THE PRESCRIBED CUSTOMS OF THESE PEOPLES ARE WORTHLESS, FOR ONE CUTS A TREE FROM THE FOREST, WORK FOR THE HANDS OF A CRAFTSMAN WITH A CUTTING TOOL.

THEY ADORN IT WITH SILVER AND GOLD, THEY FASTEN IT WITH NAILS AND HAMMERS SO THAT IT DOES NOT TOPPLE.

MITHRA'S BIRTHDAY IS DECEMBER 25 AS WELL AS THE WINTER SOLOIST.

Communion is not scriptural...the passover meal is....again i ask what scripture is that which brings you to the following statement;

We are told to remember his suffering and death. Do you agree with this or am I in error?

oh...It looks like YOU made the statement about remembering the suffering and death..
I asked what scripture is that was...Plus the topic has to do with annual celebrations...In your case with the "communion" it's monthly or bi-monthly none of which is scriptural...This comes from the Roman Catholic Church...You do not find any establishments of a Monthly communion...Again i ask.....What scripture are you referring to?

Communion is not scriptural?

1Cor 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me.
My sister, this is an account of the PASSOVER MEAL not a monthly or weekly accurance...Where after the passover do you see the Apostles doing it every first sunday?

In fact I don't see the Apostles actually taking what you call Communion which comes from the catholic church...

He was speaking of as often as you observe the passover, or some would say as often as you come together in fellowship...Because the verses you use have a context...and to know just what he was speaking about you have to start earlier in verse 18...

Bottom line is Shaul is in a scene saying that when you come together to break bread (meal), you do it in remembrance of him by showing love and sharing evenly with everyone making sure all are taking care of...in doing that often, you do it in remembrance of him because you show the love of Yahshua...

Bottom line is when you celebrate Christmas your observing the birth of Mithra....They were some of the first to be called CHRISTIAN...(that's another story)...

Shalom
Holy Communion is Scripture, Jesus said do this often in memory of me
Pastor -
Jesus said 'AS OFTEN' as you do this...
I guess the next question would be 'How often did they have Passover back then?
Once a year.
There you go...
Those who practiced the Passover were not Gentiles. That was a Jewish observance. I'm not Jewish.

When did the Gentiles start something different?
I read nothing in the scriptures that the holy apostles started something different.

As far as being Jewish - we are grafted into the root. The root is Jewish.
And -
If you dont want to do anything Jews did - we could start a whole list that the Church still does that Jews were doing since the days of Moses.
No brother, it was not a "Jewish observance" It was AND IS STILL a Hebraic observance which Yah instructs His people to observe. You are correct in that you are not Jewish...If you know Yahshua then you are grafted into Israel (according to scripture)...You need to first know who the real Israelites are, and who makes the gentiles as well as who the fake "Jews" are...

You yourself are not a gentile..that is the trick of the enemy....

HEBREW so-called NEGRO
"...If you know Yahshua then you are grafted into Israel (according to scripture)...You need to first know who the real Israelites are, and who makes the gentiles as well as who the fake "Jews" are..."

Yahshua said - salvation is of the Jews.
ummm...Yes he did..
ummm...Yes he did..

And what does that say to you?
Yes my Brother you are correct
