Witnessing the Dead rise/raised from physical death

The bible speaks of prophets and apostles that raised up people from the dead.[including Christ Jesus]. My question is has ANYONE physically witnessed, a person raised from the dead?. I am speaking of one who was physically dead. I heard of rumors and stories, Just wondering..Also was it done by a person who claim, to be an apsotle/prophet.

I know that this can be by the power of God. yet so many of us have a watered down walk with God. Thus no power, I also believe that we [Christians] now day. Don't have the comittment or the power the origanal apostles had. paul,peter ,etc

Pastor Valentine - I believe these things come by faith.
Why have faith in God's healing power or in God raising anyone from the dead - when you have doctors? Sometimes our blessings get in the way.
Some times it is not even possible for Jesus to do what He has the power to do...

He went to one town and could NOT perform any miracles because they did not believe.

Why would we have faith in God's word that tells us "with his stripes we are healed" or in his word that says "if there are any sick among you call for the elders of the church to pray for the saints you and anoint the saints with oil so that they can be healed" - when we have well qualified doctors?

But its not surprising because there is less and less faith in the God's word. Church people can read something very plain in the bible and say its not for us today and that we dont have to do or believe in what is written and if it cramps our style then "those things written was for those people at that time".
Well, why in the world would God do miracles in such a rebellious atmosphere?

Jesus Christ asked if He would find faith on the earth when He returned.
Why would He ask that?
Because He saw many in the church falling away and not taking His word as His word.
Thus there is not much raising of the dead.
We need simple faith that God is true to His word.
