One Holy Catholic/Universal & Apostolic Church?? What Say Ye?? PART II

Last time I raised this subject, the Anglican Church was just discussing it. Now, the Patriarch of Rome signed the contract uniting them, making Anglicans Roman Catholic if they choose to be.

Again I ask you Baptists and Pentecostal, when the Roman Catholic Church, and Orthodox Churches comes knocking on your door, WHAT SAY YE?? Pentecostals, keep in mind that your Presiding Prelates, if apart of the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops, is already in good standings with the Roman Pontiff after a visit to Rome a few years ago.....

-Would you consider uniting your Church with Rome in Communion with your Church?
-If yes, why?
-If yes, what requirements from Rome would you require?
-If no, why not?

So you are apart of this falseness. You know what's going on, don't you?
Every Baptist Church Bro Watson? Hmmm, thats interesting. I thought that they were (for the most part) apart of a Council of Baptists. I do agree that this is a hostile takeover, but not just of Rome, but from the Bishop of the Anglicans as well.

I'm STILL waiting for the Pentecostals to answer, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HOLD THE OFFICE OF APOSTLE OR BISHOP!!!!
Hi guys,

Can I ask how it is a hostile take-over?

The bishops and priests that want to go, make their own decision, not one is forcing them, particularly Rowan Williams who begging them to stay.
They could have reunited under other conditions. Pope Benedict made it clear that if they reunited, they would have to actually become Roman Catholic. The same offer was given by him to the Orthodox Churches, and that is the main reason why Orthodox Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexy II didn't want anything to do with the Roman Patriarch.
Hi Trevor

The Anglican communion is not reuniting with the Roman Rite. The Traditionalists/Ango-Catholics are leaving the Anglican Church to become part of the Roman Catholic church.

So now the real battle of power will begin within the Anglican Church, who will win the Evangelicals or the Liberals. My money is on the African evangelicals.
For the most part, this allows for the Anglican Church to come into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. Thats on the surface. The deep rooted matter is that this is a major move in fully bringing the Anglican order back under the Pontiff's rule.

My eyes are on the Pentecostal Bishops (particularly the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops), the Orthodox Church Patriarchs, and the Baptists. Alot of them already use terminology that mimics the Roman order, and in recent years have tried to even come in contact with the Pope for discussions. I am ESPECIALLY looking at the African Cardinal. If he became Pope, I promise you that talk of reuniting with heighten!

By the way, I have to ask: are you Anglican?
Trevor

I assure you that this will not allow for the Anglican church, to come into communion. The Roman Rite, will not allow Anglican or anyone else to come into full communion, (meaning to partake in the Eurcharist together) this is not possible without conversion to Roman Rite.

So the disaffected priest and bishops, and members who are already catholics, will become Roman Catholics, with their own liturgy, which is so similar anyway. They use the same books of the bible.

I think sometimes the rest of Christendom, miss out the time spans that Roman Catholics work within, that they have centuries in which they can implement things. The communications happening between the Eastern and Roman Orthodox churches about coming into full communion together has so far taken almost 100 years.

It is worth remember that according to the Roman Rite, the only true church of Jesus Christ, is the Roman church. They believe that there are christians within other denominations, and so welcome all to convert to christian catholicism.

PS Yes, I am a disaffected Anglican.

I am no longer a member though, due to the ordination of openly practising homosexual priests . But was for ten years, as laity, involved in Synod at deanery and diocesan. Although through our ministry we are still involved with the Anglican hierarchy.
I know you are fufilling Isaiah 29:9-13. You don't have to keep displaying it.
LOL..
Not so Hezekiah; no matter how you twist it!
Twist what?

What am I twisting?
