Real Christians

It is interesting to me that there r a lot of people that profess Christianity, but few will funtion beyond the boundries of their own self interest. I know we can call on God in the midnight hour, but aren't we the subjects through which God's power is manifested? Some people will never know know the wonder of God if we don't step outside the bushel of limited service. Our light should shine wherever we go and not just when we r entertained on Sunday.

Brother I feel you, but shouldn't real Christians follow Christ. Is this not Christ in Revelation

Revelation 22:13-14 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

We are to condemn sin and not sinners!

We are blined by the plank in our own eye while we look at the speck in someone else 

We cannot connect and be honest with each other because if you really knew the things that I struggle with u might try to kick me out the church! 

God calls for us to bear one another's burdens. But unless u see me as Christ see me, u r no help to me. Either u will kick me out the church I  may become a hinderance tlo u.

U can't weep with me if u place yourself outside of my pain in a cocoon of self righteousness!. We can't deal with sinners because we're afraid of being contaminated.  Some of us like the leaders of Christ's day r so heavenly bound that we're no earthly good! 

Yet we want to judge somebody! Or we're quick to condemn somebody! Where r u in the midnight hour when I'm crying in the dark? Who is it that comforts me when I'm sad, feeds me when I'm hungry, visits me when I'm lonely! Who is it that loves me in spite of my faults, in spite of my ways, in spite of my habits! Who is that died for me while I was yet a sinner! There's only one name given user heaven  and that name is Jesus!

At last and did my Savior bleed...

People have enough things to deal with in life without the added burden of santified holy rollers! And we wonder why the pews aren't filled. If I haven't gotten control of my own mess what makes u think I want to deal with yours? We r the ones who give people the impression that u have to get right before u can come to church! Don't come up in here without your Sunday best.

Problem is there r too many wolves in sheep clothing in the church! Church is full of preying folk! The problem is they're preying instead of praying!
If u see someone in the church who don't walk the way u feel they should walk, don't prey on them pray for them!
If they dont talk..act... Live... sing...preach like you want them to, don't prey on them, pray for them!
The strong ought to bear the infirmaries of the weak! That means we might have to tolerate some things!. Lord knows how long God had to put up with our foolishness! And we r still a work in progress! Some of us act like we've arived! Were so santified but I'll tell u, until that the trump sounds and u see angels, u r still a work in progress! And please be patient with me! God is not through with me yet! When God gets through with me, I shall come forth as pure gold!

I'm replying to the concept of following Christ! An old hymn states:
Lift him up by living as a Christian ought
Let the world in you the Savior see
Then men will gladly follow Him who once taught
I'll draw all men unto me!

God never called us to be slayers of men. We are called to preach His word and be examples of His truth!

The Word of God! I believe that the saints of God should have a different disposition than the world! There is a lady on my job who professes to be Christian yet, condemns everybody. She calls people who don't agree with her devils. She even questioned my faith because I show compassion to people. While I am not responsible for how people feel about me, I am responsible for how I respond to them. God calls for us to love our enemies. There is a special anointing upon those who can love in spite of and not because of. They are stronger, wiser and better witnesses because of their consistant behavior. They are a part of a revolution and not a rebellion.
