Rev. Watson;
Thanks for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed the post.
We are to live by the Ten Commandments as they set the standards between us and God and with oneanother. Humanity has failed and continues to fail and this is why a new convenant and better covenant was needed. Yes I agree that Jesus Christ was the only one that was able to keep the law and sinned not. Again I agree with Roman 10:4.
Love communitacting with you.

Rev. Watson;
I think we agree on most points and I feel you mis-interperted what I was saying. Regarding the Ten Commandments being the standards by which we are to live, are you suggesting that we aren't to have a vertial relationship with God first and then our fellowman, where it states that we are to love God with all our hearts, minds and soul and to put no other God before the one true God. Then we are to love our negithbor as ourselves? All of society's laws are based on the Ten Commandments according to the research that I have done in preparation for another book I am writing. Are we members of society suppose to kill and mis-treat one another without any consequences. I know that we are now under grace (the New Covenant) and the Old represented the "Law", which couldnot be kept and the New was established by Christ Himself. Man has the ability to obey God's will with the aid of the Holy Spirit because the New Covenant requirements are written in the hearts of man. The key point in Romans 8:1-2 is "to them that are in Christ Jesus" this tells me that if a person refuses to accept Jesus as his or her personal Savior the person is still doomed to die. what do you think?
My interpertation of verse 2 is that the "law of the Spirit" is the regualtin power that is active in the life of the believer (you and I), this spirit is the Holy Spirit operating in the hearts of all believers. This is the spirit that frees each believer from the "law of sin and death" (7:23), wherease the law of the Spirit frees believers from this. It all goes back to each believers making a choice of believing or not, acceptance or non-accpetance of Jesus Christ. I can give you a gift, but if you refuse the gift it is still sitting waiting for accptance. Right?
Correct me if I am wrong, are you implying that because we live in the age of grace that mankind can live any way he wants and suffer no consequences? I don't think that you are.
In the end, we will agree that we are under grace and the New Covenant superseded the Old covenant, which is far better, but have this freedom we must make Jesus our choice. What do you think?
Here is my personal email, white3285@sbcglobal.net, because I think you enjoy dialoging with me.
It is always good discussing different views on a subject.
Be blessed.
