When Believeing God For A Mate What Are Some Of The Struggles You Run Into And What Advice Can you Give To Help Others.

I am asking this question because i find when counseling others on this matter they wonder why they make the same mistakes and want to know how do you really know and do they need to be with any one at all.Single people go through so much just trying to be happy in Godly relationships. I am just looking for others to share their experience and advice and what you learned so others can be encouraged and bless by what you know the lord has taught you.

Thank you for your response i know what you mean being married 2 times my self i learned some things too. its good to share your advice for others who don't know why its important to just wait on his will and not ours.
All relationships are vehicles though which we learn. Our relationships often reflect what the lesson is especially if it is repeated. There is something you are needing to learn. Issues of betrayal - How have you betrayed God through your thoughts and actions? Issues of lack of commitment- Are you really committed to God first or do you place your mate on a pedestal once you are together? Lack of love- have you learned to truly love yourself as God loves you or do you devalue yourself by staying in situations that do not honor you as a child of God? Do you spend more time trying to change the other instead of working on yourself?

Also a part of the challenge whether you are married or not is being able to see Christ in everyone. When you are able to do that, your every interaction becomes one of acting out of love. Love is not so much about what you receive but what you give without condition. This is the ultimate challenge in any relationship. Many enter into relationships based on what they think they will get rather than what they have to offer.
