I know women can preach, teach, and speak in church, I take nothing from women its time for the bible to speak to us. According to 1Tim 3 is that talking about women or men I'm just asking a question.
Bro James, there is no scriptural proof that women cannot pastor, but there is no accurate interpretation of scripture that says that they can either. The closest example would be that of Lydia in Acts 16:14-15. It is implied that after having Paul and Silas at her home, she started a house church and served as pastor. The Timothy and Titus prose on bishops (presbyteruos) was written from the perspective that women were not full participants in society even though women played a primary role in the earthly ministry of Jesus. To deny them the opportunity to participate as pastors may be denying the full work of the mission field of Christ. Besides in the black church, traditionally, the women have done everything but pastor. LOL
The Word has told us who God has set as the head.
How can you be the head at church and the helpmeet at home?
That is out of order and does not our God believe in order?
In the majority of the churches I have visited that have women pastors the men are feminine (and/or homosexual), henpecked, soft, weak and jellybacked.
The women are usually overbearing, masculine and out of order.
The church is NOT the place for a "feminist" movement.
God put what He wanted in His Word for how He wanted HIS church on this earth who are we to change it because of what some secular company/business does?
God is the head of the church NOT Oprah or any of those other feminist undercover lesbians.
