Why is fornication so rampant in our congregations?

Have church has become worst than dogs? Gallup an internet polling website reports that 69% of those who attend church weekly say that premarital sex in morally acceptable. What is going on?

I think there is a problem in the teaching that's going forth concerning sexual addictions. It's being swept under a carpet instead of exposing and dealing with it. The leaders aren't taking this sin serious enough and some are even telling the people it's okay, God still loves you. Esau was a fornicator, a profane person who did not take the spiritual things of God serious enough, he even sold his birth right for a morsel of meat. He was a habitual fornicator that could not repent even though he sought it with tears. God gives every man and woman space to repent of their fornication, and if they wait and allow the space to run out they will become reprobate. Unable to repent or break the habit of lust and fornication. How can one get free from this sin? What they must he do? I want to here your answers.

IF WE WOULD SET BOUNDARIES AND A DRESS CODE AND CHASTISE, IN LOVE, WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS UP INAPPROPRIATELY DRESSED AFTER BEING TAUGHT BETTER, AND REMIND THE SAINTS THAT WE ARE SISTERS AND BROTHERS IN CHRIST, COMMITTING SPIRITUAL "INCEST", EXCEPT WHEN GOD PUTS A COUPLE TOGETHER IN MARRIAGE, WE MAY GAIN BACK SOME CONTROL. 1) to commit fornication, be a harlot, play the harlot

3) to be a cult prostitute

The Greek is Porneia. The meanings are as follows:

1) illicit sexual intercourse

Christianity reveals that 2 virgins cannot have sex unless they "put the ring on". No where above is that the case. If 2 decide to commit to each other, and consumate their commitment through sex, then they have not sinned!

When you say commit to each other, are you saying marriage? Because people commit themselves all the time when dating, and they will have sex the whole time until they break up and go to the next commitment.

Are you saying committed as in being committed in marriage without the ceremony, as in they both have taken marriage vows between themselves and the both are in agreement with marriage. or like Common-law marriage? or that two people committed are considered married in the sight of God. What if they go through the process with several different people, and break the commitment, then what?

Sex is what seals the and consumates the commitment. If one goes through several different people, has sex with them, and breaks up, then that person is guilty of fornication(see meanings above). No where in scripture did it EVER command ceremonial vows. That is tradition. When you meet your spouse, and commit to her, and she to you, and ya'll have sex, then ya'll are married in Yehwah's eyes. No one needs a "ceremony"
