Would You As Pastor allow Homosexuals To Frolic In Your Church?

Vermont has just okayed what they call "same sex mariages". It is very sad that we humans who are supposed to be the most intelligent creatures on earth, dont even understand or appreciate the sacred purpose of marriage. The reason why God instituted marriage is for reproduction, plus nothing, minus nothing. The sole reason why we are created male and female, or exibit some form of sexuality is to reproduce. If we didnt have to reproduce after our kind, we wont have any devices for sex. Angels dont reproduce and as such are sexless beings. Everything else God put on earth comes in pairs of male and female. Even birds know this. Have you ever gone bird-watching and seen two male birds weaving a nest and trying to raise a family?
You dont have to be a rocket scientist in order to understand that another man's behind was neither designed by God nor evolution for sex. The anus is not a sexul organ, period. So that if you want to use a body feature designed to accomplish one task for a completely senseless one then there is something wrong with your perception. You are like the man who sees a deer and calls it an elephant. Something is wrong upstairs!! What is the purpose of a so called same sex marriage. Sexual pleasure so they speak. But pleasure is not the purpose for sex.The pleasure part is secondary. God made sex pleasurable, why? Because if it had felt like surgery, you would have to hold a gun to your partner's head to have children. Homosexuals have taken the "purpose" out and are going gang-ho after the "pleasure".WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT PLEASURE-SEEKING IN THE LAST DAYS?
As A pastor the only way I would allow a homosexual in my congregation if they understand that homosexuality, just all other deviations , is wrong and they came to church to seek help like all of us do. But if a homosexual shows up in church all cocky and full of gay pride and trying to peddle his ware in the church, I will chase him out with a baseball bat!!! lol!
You just said "wow, he hates homosexuals!", right? Wrong. As a pastor you cant hate anybody because of their sin.It will be like a Doctor hating a patient because the latter has a form of cancer the Doctor dreads.But if the patient tells the Doc, "Leave my cancer a lone. I was born with it, and I am proud of it." Well, then get out of the hospital! I dont hate homosexuals, I hate homosexuality. You dont hate the sinner, you hate the sin. You have to hate the sin enough to be able to help the sinner. On the other hand if you love the sin, you yourself might just get caught up in it.I consider it a disgrace to the human race that we allow behavior that even some animals shy away from.

You are right. That is what I have always advocated for from the beginning. I am not saying a christian is this kind of "holier than thou" individual. I am not saying just because a person happens to be homosexual means they are excluded from salvation. What I am saying is the current move by homosexuals to legitimise their sin is an act of arrogance against God's law even if the earthly powers approve it for the sake of political votes.
Washington just voted for the poofs. Hurray so much for a christian nation!!!
Governments can be all the slimball the want in kowtowing to what they themselves believe is insane just for politics sake, but God's word will remain forever true. The consequenses will follow, cinchly.Thank you.

We Don't hate Homosexuals but we hate the Sin Just like any other Sin, because it is not of God and we made that clear" they are also welcome in our Church but they must Get Deliver and set free You know what I found out is that The Gay Community will always say that we are full of hate or we are bigots and don't have the Love of God in our hearts when we approach them about what the Word of God say about their Lifestyles, It doesn't matter how Compassion we are giving them the Word of the Lord they will always say that we Hate them or we are dismissing them" and that is not the Case" as True Believers of God we Live by The Word of God not by the Law of man and Scriptures tells us that it is so Unatural for a Man to be with a Man and a Women with a Women but they will argue that they were born like that" But How can that be" when God made the Heaven and Earth and Everything That God made Was Good. He's a Perfect God and We all know that God Don't make no Mistakes.

Thanks for the comment o n my page and for your work regarding this issue. Just as you were on the Tyra Banks show I am looking for an opportunity to bebate the ilks like Gene Robinson on national TV so I can pulverize , debunk and demolish their silly arguments for being homosexual. They havent taken the bait yet. I will pay an arm and a leg to have a moments appearance with any of these demonized individuals so atleast a biblical view could be presented to the nation. You would be surprised how many well-meaning people in this nation are wallowing in ignorance because nobody ever told them anything different from the insane poofs(the devil's KGB in the church) or the irrelevant psychologists. Psychology is the next most irrelevant and totally worthless genre of scientific study in academia.
As a graduate student I used to debate my psychology professors on a phletora of issues. They never won any argument!!
You see, the psychologist tries to study the human mind the way a car mechanic studies lets say a Ford engine. So that whatever finding he gets from one "engine" can be applied to the other..
What the psychologists fails to understand is that human beings are not mechanical engines, we are not standardize in any form or shape. Humans are so unique that out of the six billion people on earth, you will be hard put to find just two individuals with the same fingerprints.This is why the science of psychology has never made any real sense other than trial and error.
For instance when a person commits aggravated murder and is arraigned in court, a psychologist is likely to be called to testify on their behalf. He may made an argument that runs like" Well, the reason he killed people is because his mama never gave him the right milk when he was a child."
Question is "how about the millions of other people who did not have any milk at all when they were kids and yet are not in the streets killing people? Or how about the numerous number of cases where kids who "had all the right milk" winded up committing worse crimes like the Menendez brothers? Hello?Homosexuals believe they were born so and therefore it is not their fault to be what they are. Where did they get this idea from? The insane psychologists!! So what it means is that a person who thinks the word of psychology is above the word of God can arrogantly stand up in church, proclaim they are christian yet uplift their homosexuality above the will, purpose and Word of God.Where is the role of the Holy Spirit in this. Any person who claims they have been called to be a pastor has the Holy spirit if their claim is true. And anybody with the holy spirit can NEVER, under any condotions contradict God's word.
Unfortunately we live in an era where even a demon can call himself a pastor and be believed. This is why poofs are threathening to hijack the church and claiming they are righteous in doing so.This is why we have the first openly gay sons of shit running churches and whole ministries. The devil has succeeded in planting them in the church and glossing the minds of onlookers to believe in sin as righteousness.
How will they ever win without political clout? No way! So the same Ibliss stinking devil, their father, started work on the politicians_ the thieves, foul beings who will sell their mama for a seat in congress. That is how far we have come folks. Evil will overtake the church. All I say is are you a man of God or a wimp. Stanp up for the truth. They die for gabbage. Dont be afraid to die foir the Lord. My city just voted last week to "extend the rights of marriage to same sex couples and give them the benefits pertaining to marriage as in heterosexuals relationships."
I moved from New York to this part of the USA becos I always heard that this is the Bible belt where christianity holds sway over any ideas. Boy, was I disappointed! There are so many churches, one on every third block on any street but the crime rate , even in a small city like Durham, blows the charts!!
My first reaction when I read in the news that the city council has just voted unanimously to start issuing marriage certificates to homosexuals was to move out!!.I can move out to Eastern europe, where I have friends who want me over to start a ministry, I can move back to my village in Africa, shut out the world and live off thousands of ancestral lands, fishing, gardening and hunting. I will be a very happy man. But then I felt a check in my spirit: You wonna run? Running is what cowards do and I am not your average coward. I aint moving an inch. I will stay here, fight here, die here if the Lord so chooses.If anyone think they can shut me up by any form of threats, let me tell you this: you have brought your pig to the wrong market.

But more seriously - it began with Pastors allowing women in the pulpit teaching men.
Pastors were playing with fire when they started doing this. It became one slippery slope - so now you have homosexuals 'frolicking' amongst the saints.

Get the women out of the pulpit -----> you kill alot of that disorder - immediately.

Do something radical - you are being 'feminized' as you allow women to lead you.

You are very interesting! I used to believe in that ultra-pentecostal doctrines of who is right just by their looks or birth or gender to be in the pulpit.There are church doctrines dictating man made principles that have nothing to do with the work of God through the Holy Ghost. I dont believe in conventionality. I am not a "conventional" preacher. I dont wonna be one. I grew up around that stuff, believe in it, worked with pastors who embraced it for almost 40 years. It is a sham. What you just said has a few implications and lets try to decipher them and see if the God we purport to serve will embrace our thought processes.
1. God intended women to be of no value to Him in ministry strictly because of their gender. Agree or not agree?
2. Just by virtue of being born male, which has nothing to do with a person's abilities or wishes, a man has acquired a more purposeful life over a woman.
3. God is a respector of the male gender(remember the bible says He is no respector of persons).
4. Only males are intelligent enough to read, understand and impart the scriptures to others. Hahaha if you say yes to this one, i have practical news for you. I used to work grading exams from nation-wide institutions and I know that the girls did almost invariably better than the boys.
5.We live in a time when men are becoming "effeminate", abandoning family and running after whores. The only ones left to keep family together are the single mothers. Do you suggest that God hate their feminity so much, He wants them to shut up and listen to any man they can find.
6. There are men in the pulpit who use the pulpit for their financial gain. There are women in the pulpit who are passionate about the salvation of the lost. Which one sholud God support?
Listen, I can go on and on and on, but it is not worth if. To most christians, church doctrine is more important than the word(I am not saying that is true in your case). Most atimes it is due to ignorance or the misinterpretation of the Word. There was a time in my life when you wont catch me dead with deodorant in my armpits, because my pastor used to preach that adorning yourself with perfume and deodorants is a sign of worldliness. If they can smell your armpits one mile away, whew, you are extremely christian. The Lord Jesus Himself when He walked this earth was not a conventional man. The religious authorities hated Him for His unconventionality. There are churches today who will call security and throw the Lord Jesus out if He came in there disguised as a preacher who doesnt believe in their church doctrine. I know the evil Episcopal church will, certainly, on the issue of homosexual marriages.

I just need to add this. I wouldnt be a christian but for two women preachers, missionaries that God sent to my father's village in the early sixties.We called them Ma Pruce and Mame America. Ma Pruce was from Ireland and Mame America was, of course from America. She had a name we couldnt pronounce so we called her Mame(Mother) America.These were people so passionate about spreading the word of God they left family and the comfort of their homes and traveled thousands of miles coming to a village where cows and mosquitoes outnumber people, and they were women, not men, women. Tell a male prosperity preacher to live the comfort of his hollihood-style mansion and go to the bush to preach. He will tell you "my annointing is expensive". Yeah, right but your poop aint! Your poop smell just as bad as mine.

If one is abreast with the news you will find that a woman pastor has been murdered in a church in a rural setting somewhere in...OK, I am not sure. But the news article informs that this old lady pastor of over sixty "volunteered" to go and help that little church because they've been without a pastor for sometime.Then she got killed whiles in the church preparing for service.
Question is: are there no male preachers in the hierarchy of this church with balls in between their legs to volunteer? Why a woman, and a grandmother for heavens sake? See, this is the problem with the church in our days. The women volunteer, men are hiding behind their wives aprons.Do you think if it was a male preacher in that church that day this piece of human gabbage would have dared approach him with a knife to take his life?She was female and old, an easy target.
The men wont volunteer, prosperity preachers wont volunteer. Why? It is a rural setting, a small church. Their weekly offering may not pass a 100 bucks, there is no where for Mr Jetplane Jack to land his jetplane, no Ritz Carlston.
If it were a mega church sitting over 30,000 recycled christians a service, prosperity preachers will be beating each other with bibles to get in the front role of pecking order to go there. "I volunteered first get behind me!"Isnt it a shame?
I would volunteer any moment to go to this church and help out till they find a pastor. They dont have to pay me a dime. I can take care of myself, and if that human gabbage with the little wispy beard wants he can approach me with his knife.

I AGREE WITH THIS!!!
I've been saying this for the longest time and NO ONE seemed to believe me. Once you let one sin in you'll have to let every other sin in. One woman pastor said "there is no gender in Christ."
Okay, if that is true then why all the debate back and forth about homosexuality being wrong when if a homosexual gets "saved" (confesses Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour) their gender won't matter anymore, right?
That's why it becomes a slippery slope.
However, if we go with what the Word says expressly then we wouldn't need to have this debate.
The CHURCH created this issue so the CHURCH needs to handle it- the BIBLE way!!!

It has been quite some time since I have read the replies that have been submitted, particularlly those in response to my June posting. I am very encouraged by the civil Christ-like tone of the majority of the arguments made in apologetics of the mainstream view of "homosexual christians". I fully understand the reason for the disagreement and the passion and zeal being expressed in opposition. If I truly believed, as I once did that GOD condemned homosexuals to hell I would teach that, as I once did. If the story of Sodom and Gommorah was really about what I was taught is Bible School I would fight against it just like you but brethern (as I can say in context according to Isaiah 1:18) Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD....

The literal approach to the Bible claims not to interpret the Bible but merely to take it for what it obviously says. The words of the Bible in modern translation are taken to mean what they mean to the reader today. On this basis the Bible is said to condemn homosexuality in a number of places. But a historical-critical approach reads the Bible in its original historical and cultural context. This approach takes the Bible to mean, as best as can be determiend, what its human authors intended to say in their own time and in their own way. Understood on its own terms, the Bible was not addressing our current questions about sexual ethics and does not condemn gay sex as we understand it today.

The much reputed sin of Sodom recorded in Genesis 18 & 19 was inhospitality, not homosexuality. Read (Genesis 19:8; Ezekiel 16:48-50) Not a single Bible text clearly refers to lesbian sex. And from the Bible's positive teaching about heterosexuality, there follows no valid conclusion whatsoever about homosexuality.

Only five texts surely refer to male-male sex, Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, Romans 1:27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and 1 Timothy 1:10. All these texts are concerned with something other than homogenital activity itself, and these five texts boil down to only three different issues.

First, Leviticus forbids homogenitality as a betrayal of Jewish identity, for supposedly male-male sex was a Canaanite practice. The Leviticus concern about male-male sex is impurity, an offense against the Jewish religion, not violation of the inherent nature of sex. Second, the letter to the Romans presupposes the teaching of the Jewish Law in Leviticus, and Romans mentions male-male sex as an instance of impurity. However, Romans mentions it precisely to make the point that purity issues have no importance to Christ, only what's in our hearts and minds. Finally, in the obscure term arsenokoitai, 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy condemn abuses associated with homogeital activity in the First Century: exploitation and lust.

So, the Bible takes no direct stand on the morality of homogenital acts as such nor on the morality of gay and lesbian relationships. Indeed, the Bible's longest treatment of the matter, in Romans, suggests that in themselves homogenital acts have no ethical significance whatsoever. However, understood in their historical context, the teaching of 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy, makes this clear: abusive forms of male-male sex -- and of male-female sex-- must be avoided.

While the Bible makes no blanket condemnation of homogenital acts and even less of homosexuality, this does not mean that for lesbians and gay men anything goes. They are certainly still bound by the core moral teachings of the Bible: be prayerful, reverence God, respect others, be loving and kind, be forgiving and merciful, be honest and be just, stand up for truth, give of yourself for all that is good, and avoid all that you know to be evil. To do that is to love God with your whole heart and soul. To do that is to be a true disciple of Jesus. Living by the Bible, gay and lesbian people are still bound by those moral committments, and those requirements apply also to sex and to intimate relationships.

That is all that can honestly be said about biblical teaching on homosexuality. If people would still seek to know outright if gay or lesbian relationships or sex in itself is good or evil, they will have to look somewhere else for the answer. The Bible seems deliberately unconcerned about it.

In biblical times, there was no understanding of "homosexuality as a sexual orientation.. there was only a general awareness of same-sex acts or contact as "homogenital acts". Our question today is about people and their relationships, not simply about sex acts. Because this was not a question in the minds of the biblical authors, we cannot expect the Bible to give an answer.

The Bible supplies no real basis for the condemnation of homosexuality. What it does do, however, is speak strongly about those who are immoral, lustful, and so forth. These are things that any of us can be guilty of and must stay away from.

Let the Bible Speak. LET GOD BE TRUE...
