Sin is breaking Torah. Why does Christianity insist on the double talk?

1 John 3:4,"Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness." If sin is breaking the law/torah, then why do Christians continue to violate it?

New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34). The New Covenant is a covenant made with the nation of Israel which speaks about the blessings which are detailed in the Abrahamic covenant. In the new covenant, God promises to forgive sin, and there will be a universal knowledge of the Lord (verse 34). It even appears that the nation of Israel will have a special relationship with their God (verse 33).

Truth is Truth is Truth.

bro trevors--- stipulation was not to use the OT ((((FUNNY)))
covenant = agreement with god ,and yes israel intered into a agreement with YHWH ,
when they said all that the lord had commanded
Ex19:5Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
7And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him. 8And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD
Bro. Pharaoh,

The obedience of keeping His covenant is not the Mosaic Law. Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law of Moses (Matthew 5:17) and create a new covenant between God and His people. The old covenant was written in stone, but the new covenant is written on our hearts, made possible only by faith in Christ, who shed His own blood to atone for the sins of the world. Luke 22:20 says, "After supper, [Jesus] took another cup of wine and said, 'This wine is the token of God's new covenant to save you – an agreement sealed with the blood I will pour out for you.'" Now that we are under the new covenant, we are not under the penalty of the law.
Sister Harris said: This wine is the token of God's new covenant to save you – an agreement sealed with the blood I will pour out for you.'"

That is the Passover Sister Harris. You do that on the Passover with Unleavened Bread and wine.
Mosaic Law is animal sacrifice, Oblation, and Levitical Priesthood, and the commandments of God. Jesus fulfilled all of that, but the end of his life he began to come with Bread and wine. He was changing the Priesthood because the blood of bulls and goats could not take away sin. So, the Israelites of that time who died keeping the animal sacrifice law, Levitical Priesthood, and commandments of God, were not saved because, it was not until the death a resurrection of Jesus could they be forgiven of their sins even though they sacrificed animals for sinning. Sin is the transgression of law. Jesus did away with the animal sacrifice laws. The Moral law and the feasts, dietary law, and cleanliness law are all still good.
SISTA HARRIS ,
1st let us in a godly manner agree to disagree ///
now you are completely correct in every word you said ///
Just that the next verse(Matt:18) says as long as we have a heaven and earth /// til all be forfilled///the law is good
has all been forfilled???///do we still have a heaven and an earth???
now, what yahshua forfilled/
26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

from my understanding ,this is the only prophecy of any law coming to an end, sacrifice and oblation
now hebrews10 i'm sure your familiar, but it talks about this, when convient revisit the chapter ,some key vesre though are

2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

BruthaPharoah-- they should,ve sacrifice for the sin commited and sin no more, but the people continued in sin and making offering year after year

4For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

BruthaPharoah-the lord want us to obey his voice ,not apologize with and offering,

1 Samuel 15:22
And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams

Back to hebrew 10

16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Passed sins

26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

So in my belief Sista Harris,is that yahshua ended the sacrifical law ,that we repent for the remission of sin and sin no more
Once again, this is all nice, but STILL doesn't list what is within the New Covenant. The real reason why I made that stipulation for NT only was simple: the OT only prophesied about it to come, and never explained it fully. It is the New Testament that FULLY explains the new covenant. So which would you rather have: the Prophecy which is a shadow of things to come, or the full revelation of what has come found within the NT scriptures???

Lets be real......
New Covenant
Jesus became our blood sacrifice on the Cross, which replaced the animal sacrifice. The animal sacrifice only covered our sins, Jesus blood not only covered our sins but paid the penalty for our sins which was death.

The moral laws (Ten Commandments) still apply and are covered in the Two Great Commandments given by Jesus:

Matthew 22:37-40
1. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This covers the first 4 commandments dealing with our relationship to God. To love the Lord as stated here is to literally obey the first 4 commandments.

2. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. This covers the remaining 6 commandments which deals with our relationship to mankind. We are to literally obey these 6 commandments. We would not want anyone to kill us or covet our spouse, personal properties, etc.
You can believe you tradition, and your pastor. You are wrong Sister Harris, and so is Trevor. You pushing this false doctrine just confuses people.
The Torah does not only contain the 10 commandments. Yahuah says obey ALL that I have spoken. There are other commandments He has spoken, such as the Niddah. When a woman is on her monthly cycle, she cannot make contact with her husband in anyway. They cannot even sleep in the same bed. She must separate herself, because she is unclean.

You have the dietary laws, which Yahuah has spoken to Israel. You have the divorce laws, property laws, etc. We are to still adhere to these laws to this day, otherwise it is sin. Sin is the violation of the Torah, so why sin if we know the truth? We all claim to follow Yahushua, but only a few actually knows what that means. If you really want to follow Yahushua, then keep the Torah as He did.
Yahuah says obey ALL that I have spoken.

What about Mezuzot? Deuteronomy 6:9 and Deuteronomy 11:21.

If you supposedly follow Torah.

Why do you, James ignore this command??
Caral,

I believe that I answered you there before, but I have no problems answering it again. Let us get those scriptures.

Deut 6:9,"and you shall write them on the doorposts of your houses and of your gates." The same goes for Deut 11:21. This is not a literal command for the simple reason that Yahuah commands many many instructions. A doorpost will not hold supposidly 613 commands, and neither will a gate will. The previous sayings of Yahuah concerning this say:

1) They shall be things unshakable before your eyes

2) These things shall be in our heart and soul

Verse 22 of Deut 11 says hear and do ALL of the commandments He commands. I say again. Its impossible to place hundreds of instruction on a doorpost, a gate, or even wrapped around your wrist and head. These are figures to speech to mean that Torah should always be before our eyes.. always studying, or more surely, meditating on His word.

Caral, Do you keep the Sabbath like Messiah did?
