Whatever happened to the straight and narrow path that Christ talked about? In the name of religious tolerance, are we opening the door to demonic influences in our churches, and possibly in our pulpits? Have some of our worship centers become an entertainment center and a market place for profit?

When you have Pastors who leader their Churches like Global Conglomerates, and Bishops regarding their Entrepreneurial ideas before the Bishopric, then yes.
Then we the true ministers have to bring back the spirit of Paulas found in Philippians 3:7-14 7 "But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ-- the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. 10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. 12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Amen! I agree with the teaching of prosperity. It is a totally Biblical doctrine if kept in proper context. However, the Church needs Prophets more than they need Profits.
True prosperity has little to do with wealth and more to do with spiritual health! This life is a transition to a better life. How we impact people is more important than what we have! Nobody talks about your property during your funeral. They talk about your deeds, your accomplishments! So you are correct1 We do need more Prophets than profits!

Amen and Amen!!!
"Nobody talks about your property during your funeral."

This I totally disagree with. You are speaking from the general sense, but what you left behind for the family is a VERY BIG subject amongst the family and friends. Technically speaking, wealth is apart of prosperity. How prosperous are you if you have everything in every other category, but you're financially in a hole? How good of a man are you if the inheritance you leave for your children's children are boxes of unpaid bills?

You do so for your family and see how well you're spoken of. Spiritual wealth/health is highly important, but not so important that it knocks financial wealth out of the picture. If thats the case, then sell your computer and take a vow of poverty, then we'll see how far the Gospel is spread without it.
Good point Trevor.

God does all things decently and in order; why shouldn't we when it comes to our finances?
After all, is this not considered Good Stewardship?
What u are speaking about is a carnal perspective. This life is temporary. I'm not saying u shouldn't have things. I'm saying that thing s are not the most important things in life! Read 1 timothy 6
Since when does being a good steward become a carnal perspective? And no where in my statement did I say we shouldn't have things.
I,m sorry, I meant to put this with the previous response. I think your comment was balanced.
Thank you Bro. Mark.

I was a little confused because you were providing some valid principles.

Blessings to you.
Christianity, for the most part, has abandoned the straight and narrow path when they decided that obedience to Yah through the Torah was irrelevant.
