No Weapon: “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper" Isaiah 54:17

It’s been on my heart and mind all week, and it’s the promise for which I’m thankful:

“No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper…” Isaiah 54:17

It might disappoint.

It might hurt.

It might burden.

It might wound.

It might even kill.

But it won’t prosper.

It can’t strip me of spiritual blessings.  They’re already mine in Christ (Eph. 1:3).  It can’t take my inheritance.   It’s reserved in heaven, protected by the power of God (1 Peter 1:4).  It can’t separate me from the love of God.  “Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing” has the power to do that (Romans 8:38-39).  It can’t thwart God’s purpose.  He “works all things after the counsel of His will” (Eph. 1:11).  It can’t take me from my Savior.  “I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28).

“This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord…” Isaiah 54:17 (Amplified Bible)

And it’s mine and yours in Christ.

That’s a reason to not only give thanks, but shout, HALLELUJAH!

What are you thankful for this week?

My Testimony: As I walk with Christ and continue to do His will, one thing I realize is that the enemy is persistent; persistent to stop me and anyone else who seeks to do the will of God. A few days after rebuking the headaches and sickness, the enemy tried to stop me again but this time with a different approach. Each time I would work on these sites and others in which prior deleting my profiles due to others harassing, slandering, drama, evil actions and etc., tiredness would suddenly come upon me in a way that would make me feel as though I’ve stayed up all night and never slept. The interesting part about this situation is that I work on many inspirational sites every morning, after a good night’s rest because that’s when I’m at my best. Even now as I write this blog, I’m rebuking the spirit of fatigue and tiredness in Jesus name.

When I felt myself getting sick and noticed that it was spiritual, I quickly rebuked the spirit of sickness and spoke a scripture of healing upon myself (Isaiah 53:5) in Jesus name. What happen? I was healed and I gave God the praise for it. The enemy didn’t want me to do that, instead what he wanted me to do was come into agreement with him by using my mouth to declare sickness upon myself. Many fall into this trap and I pray that after reading this, you no longer will.

Remember, Jesus has given you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). Walk in the power God has given you and take authority over the enemy today. God bless you.
