What happened to Death do us part?

What happened to Death do us part?

1 Corinthians 13:1-8

If I speak in the tongues [1] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender…

Lord, teach me to forever PRACTICE what You give me to PREACH....

The Pharisees continued a battle against Jesus with their traditions and religious tantrums and fits. The Lord declared unto the multitude and disciples in Matthew 23 the entire chapter but more specifically vs 1-4. It declares expressedly:

1The spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

2Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat;

3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works; for they…

God’s Son Full of Grace and Truth

John 1:14-18

There are several definitions for grace and some are, “favor (Genesis 6:8). It is God’s free and undeserved love that never quits (Ephesians 2:8). Grace is the gift of God that comes as eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23)”. Student’s Bible Dictionary (P. 106). Then there is the profound definition of grace as God’s Righteousness at Christ’s Expense. All definitions of grace paint a profound…

Actions Speak Louder than Word (A Real Pastor)

Faith without works are dead, and the bible also says we should know them by thier fruit. I want to share this story with all the five fold ministers Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors, and Teachers. My Grandmother who lives in southeast Alabama went to visit my mother for mothers day. in Atlanta, Ga. She stayed for about two weeks. To make a long story short one of my cousins my grandmothers grandchildren offered to by her a bus ticket. One day my grandmothers pastor called to check on…

Women in the Church an exegetical analysis

In my critical review of Women in the Church, edited by

Kostenberger, Schreiner, and Baldwin, it was asserted

that, “All the contributors are convinced that 1Timothy

2:9-15 prohibit women from teaching or exercising

authority over men in the church (10).” To build this

argument Baugh begins with an essay discussing the

historical and cultural background surrounding the text.

To refute the arguments of a “feminist”… Continue

Does 1 Timothy 2: 11 prohibit women from serving in leadership positions?

1Timothy 2:9-15 does not eliminate the role of women in leadership in the church. It specifically prohibits them from teaching or having authority over a man. There has been much said about this pericope and it has cause more of a split in the body of Christ than unity. Some have used this text to repress and oppress women and others have taken the text out of context to support a position,…

Where is the love?

given: June 1st, 2010...I felt the urge to sit down and write, so I sat down and began to write and this is what ended up on paper. I found it interesting that He put this in the form of a letter, but just as the apostles wrote letters to the church, so can Christ Jesus write letters to His church (His people), because He is THE Apostle! Not my words, but the Lord's. I am just a vessel.

"My people show more judgement than love and support. Where…

Who Are You Waiting For?

Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. — Hebrews 9:28 (NIV)

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

Who are you waiting for? Can you think of anything more exciting than to wait for Jesus to come take us home in his glory!

The Reuben Intercessors

There is a clarion call for Reuben intercessors. As I shared this newsflash in the Holy

Ghost with the saints in bible study. Reuben was the oldest son of Jacob. He was the

one responsible for mediating between the brothers of Joseph to keep them from

killing him. The Reuben Intercessors stand in the gap and travail in prayer for

disobedient prophets, of which all of us at one time or another will need intercession.

Jesus is and will always be the Master Prophet. I… Continue

Time to Let it Go

Let it go. Why is it that we long to hold on to things and people, especially, whose

season has past? My youngest son has a strange tendency to wear a jacket no matter

how warm it is outside. He has been chided on many occasions for his peculiar choice

of wardrobe, yet he faithfully wears a jacket! In the natural, we find this a bit

amusing, however in the spirit, we would define this as…

God Gave Him Rest

2 Chronicles 20:30, "So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him

rest round about."

would suggest you revisit our home page and locate the sermon I ministered on "The

How Do You View God?

God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.— John 3:17 (NIV)

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

How do you view God? Is he someone looking for a way to condemn you? Is he an out of touch old man who doesn't really know what it's like in our modern world? Is he too holy to soil himself with the concerns of mere mortals and has left it up to us to work everything out for ourselves? No. NO. NO! God chose to enter our world and… Continue
