God had been gracious to mankind for 4000 years before The Messiah was born. Adam & Eve, Noah, Abraham, Lot, Moses, the Children of Israel, David and many more OT saints, were repeatedly beneficiaries of the "Grace of God."

I do not believe that we have begun to understand the marvelous power there is in stillness. We are in such a hurry--we must be doing--so that we are in danger of not giving God a chance to work.
