The Poet Speaks

Just Between God and me

By: Reginald White/ The Gospel Poet

In my life I've had valleys to walk through and mountains to climb.

A journey often traveled by faith that manages to disappear sometimes.

Then I realize He that walks beside me has never gone away.

He just picks me up, wipes me off, and places me on a rock to stay.

I never have to worry about His protection,

although i sometimes do.

He cast my sins into the sea of… Continue

"The Lord’s Supper"

Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper in order for us to remember the great sacrifice He made for us and that we rely on Him and His sacrifice for our salvation. He gave us this memorial so we would not forget Him and what He did for us. In Luke 22:19, when Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper, He said, "Do this in remembrance of Me." This is done to help us remember the Lord and what He did for us.

The death of our Lord was not an accident. It was in God’s eternal plan of redemption for… Continue

Our health and sanity.

Many people become offended and thank we are not preaching the Gospel when we discuss health. With so many people so sick in the Body of Christ should we not as Pastors address that and bring in experts in the field to assist our congregation. Is not that part of the gospel?

Traditions make the Word of no EFFECT!

We are quick to condemn Catholics trust in traditions and church doctrine, but we are equally guilty! How often have you seen and heard things done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in your church, but in your gut (spirit) you knew it was against the Bible? And why didn’t you say something is the more disturbing question. Jim Jones was able to take hundreds of lives in Guyana because someone refused to listen to their gut (spirit). I firmly believe… Continue

Gather at The foot of The Cross

The saints of God must gather at the foot of the cross of Jesus. The Word of God must be all of our training manuals. Salvation by grace through faith is what caused Martin Luther to start the first reformation, we have departed from this in a great way. The doctrine of salvation through grace and faith has to be the preeminent prime directive for the church. Paul said it best in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is… Continue

Your will or God's will

Your will or God's will

We all seem to want everything our way, but we can not have it our way, our life does not belong to Burger King, but to God, God has His certain will for us.

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. " Matthew 7:21

We try to make our will God's will by turning the bible around to fit our wants, knowing that God did not not want it that way. We must… Continue

Sundays' Sermon

Grace & Peace Church. We are snowed in in NC so since I can't preach in DA' HOUSE, I was led to share some of my notes with my FAM'.

1 Kings 17:8, speaks of GOD's command to Elijah to go and dwell with a widow woman that the LORD hat commanded to sustain him. Mind you prior to this the LORD spoke that there would be no rain until HE said so. As a result of this WORD the LORD sustained Elijah by ravens and now here the LORD was ready to provide for him again; but what about the Widow… Continue

WHY THE $'s REPLACING THE S's IN MY NAME

No. I'm not money hungry, and I'm not chasing after materials either. The dollar signs for most people raise up thoughts of prosperity, paticularly money. For me, it's more about the condition of my soul than my outward status.

The bible says this, "I pray you prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your soul prospers."

I replaced the S's in my name with $'s because I believe in my heart that this scripture will apply to me (inwardly and outwardly). I'm going… Continue

AnointedWorks sd Presents Prophet Gary Becton

It is indeed an honor to present Prophet Gary Becton of Garner, North Carolina. In the Book of Proverbs there are many scriptures that describe what God considers an upright man, One in which God takes into his confidence. Such a man is my apostolic and prophetic mentoring brother and friend. When I consider his character I reflect on…

Ayeka - Where Are You?

Genesis 3:9 And the Lord called unto Adam, and said unto him Where art thou?

Where Are You?

It is a question asked in Genesis 3:9. Adam and Eve had just eaten some fruit from the forbidden tree and, sensing God's presence in the Garden of Eden, they hid among the trees. While they were hiding, God asked Adam a one-word question. In Hebrew that word is Ayeka? In English it means,

"Where are you?"

Where are you? It is what we ask our children when…

Writing The Vision

Habakkuk 2:1-3

(2) And the Lord answered me and said “Write The vision, and Make It Plain Upon Tables, That He May Run That Readeth It”

First We Must Write The Vision, and it must be written. It must be in specific detail, covering all the areas of what God has allowed you to already see in your mind. It must be elegantly prepared, more than just jotting down a few things on a couple of pieces of scrap paper and always stored upon completion in a safe place away from… Continue

A Whale of a Mess

"For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" (Matthew 12:40).

The word whale is synonymous with a large size or one that is impressive especially in size (a whale of a difference or a whale of a good time). In terms of an adjective it can describe one who is or something that is whale like. It can be a (n) large man-made snow mound (whale-shaped… Continue

Confess God's Provision

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Ephesians 6:10

When your faith feels weak, ask God to show you how to pray. The Bible says plainly in Jude 1:20-21 and 1 Corinthians 14:2-4 that when you pray in the Holy Spirit, you edify yourself, which means you build yourself up on your most holy faith. Praying in the Holy Spirit causes you to make progress,… Continue

Celebrate the Gift

We celebrate life and we celebrate each other, but do we celebrate the "GIFT". Ephesians 4:11-13, teaches us to understand the "GIFT". Many of us are operating in our gifts but are not sure why we are drawn to the service. Jesus gave the world Himself and the gifts given to each of us are to be shared with the world. I celebrate the "GIFT" in you, because your "GIFT" edifies the Kingdom of God. I celebrate the "GIFT" in you, for it saves the lost, the hungry and the forgotten. I celebrate the… Continue
