What's in it for me?

What's in it for me?

Do you ever ask the Lord ' What's in it for me?

So many times we either hear others ask the question, or indeed ask it ourselves. We have become such a 'me' focused society, and the church is no different.

Consider the children of Israel, going around that mountain so many times; Naaman dipping in dirty Jordan 7 times, and Joshua leading the children of Israel around and around Jericho. Tired of feet, sick in body or simply anxious to settle…

Jesus was in deed the great Jehovah of the Old Testament, who left His Father’s royal courts on high and condescended to come to earth as a babe born in the most humble of circumstances. His birth was

foretold centuries earlier by Isaiah, who declared prophetically, “For

unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government

shall be upon his shoulder: and his name…

A Letter From Satan!

This is just a letter of appreciation from me to you. I'd like to say "thank's" for letting me use you for most of your life. You are so gullible, I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores, you awoke without kneeling to pray, As a matter of fact, you didn't even bless your meals or pray before going to bed last, you are so unthankful, I like that about you. I cannot tell you how glad I am that you decided to go another day without giving your life and your will to God. I am so glad that… Continue

Where your mind lives

When all is quiet, when the necessities of the day have been tended to, when your mind is free of any constraints, what do you think about? Do you dwell on anger, limitation, worry, or envy? Or do you fill your mind with thoughts of love, possibility, confidence, abundance and generosity?

Wherever your mind lives, that is where your life is headed. The thoughts you think most frequently, willingly and intensely have the power to shape and define the reality… Continue

You Are Being Positioned

During this Thanksgiving season, I told myself not to eat whole lot. I had lost some weight; started sleeping better and feeling good. Not mention, I was watching my portion size. Well of course that did not last long, because I ate alot on Thanksgiving day, the day after and the day after that. To top it off, I gave myself time off from exercising. I'm not sure how I rationalized that, but some how I did.

This brings me to my point; during this time I was reminded by God of my charge.… Continue

The Problem or The Solution?

Are you problem focused? Or solution focused? The Holy Spirit also gave me a strong revelation on this. Those who keep focused on the problem rather than the solution will begin to see the problem as larger than the solution. Are we paying more attention to the problem than we are the solution? Is your problem bigger than God's solution? Jesus came to bring solution, and by us accepting the solution, it makes use of His labor and blood which brings Him much glory, but by paying more attention… Continue

December 1ST IS WORLD AIDS DAY 2010

It is with a somber spirit that I greet the world and my comrades in the ministry this day. In a few days, the world will take time to commemorate this DISease "HIV" which has for more than thirty years wreaked havoc in the lives of millions upon millions of individuals worldwide. The family, the very essence of OUR society has been torn apart by the ravages of this PANdemic. Our communities are infested and the infestation continues to… Continue

I was reading my bible in the book of Revelation 18 and wondered about that great city Babylon that is mentioned many, many times over in Revelation. I started to pray and ask my LORD JESUS CHRIST for some answers and lo and behold there was only one place that came to mind. AMERICA is that spiritual Babylon mentioned in Revelation!!! Yes saints, we are ALL in "MYSTERY, BAB'Y-LON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH"(Rev. 17: 5). We all know that…

You can"t run from God

You can't run from God

But Jonah tried to run away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD. Jonah 1:3

Well most of us know the story of Jonah and the big fish that swallowed him. I do not know of any fish bigger tha a whale, but the bible say big fish, so I am going to use the word fish.

But the LORD provided a great fish to… Continue

It is a dangerous thing to be on the battlefield without your weapon...

No true soldier would ever go into a battle unarmed. Any enemy would delight in such foolishness and emerge from the confrontation victorious. Yet, so many believers try to wage spiritual warfare and do not even carry the weapon God has given the, His Wod. How can you fight in a spiritual war if you leave your weapon at home?
