THE HIGHEST CALL IN MINISTRY
I was sitting at a gathering not long ago and the clergy started to mingle and introduce themselves. The scene went something like this: "Hello, I am Evangelist So & So". To… |

It's time out for just going to church every sunday worshipping behind you four walls! We in the church arguing about what colors we gon' wear for the choir anniversary! We in the church arguing about the credit you didn't get for this program and such. We're arguing in the church, and there are lost souls out there to be won!
When will the church wake up? It don't matter how many members you have if you church is not making more of an impact than on the "Church Channel!" The only…

Faith International Community Church had its physical beginning in the home of Pastor Robert D. Owens Sr. and First Lady Dorothy Owens, 334 Holland Dr. Smithfield N.C. on the morning of October1, 2006. At that time, we thought it was going to be a small service with me, my wife and children, but as the clock approached 11:oo that morning, more people began to…

GOD LOOKED AT ADAM AND SAW A WORLD. HE LOOKED AT ABRAHAM AND SAW NATIONS. IN JACOB, A DECEIVER, HE SAW A MESSIAH. IN MOSES THE MURDERER, GOD SAW A DELIVERER. CAN YOU IMAGINE LOOKING AT A STAMMERING YOUNG MAN AND SEEING THE GREATEST LEADER IN HISTORY?
GOD SAW A KING IN A SHEPHERD BOY. WHEN THE ISRAELITES WANTED A KING, GOD SENT SAMUEL TO THE HOME OF JESSE. WHEN JESSE HEARD WHY SAMUEL WAS THERE, HE DRESSED UP ALL HIS SONS, THE HANDSOME ONE, THE TALL ONE, THE CURLY HAIRED ONE, THE STRONG…

I am Berenice Gray, a 58 year old christian woman from East TX with two adult daughters and 3 grandchildren. I am a freelance writer who is blind. I am presently working on a book of short stories and I am enrolled at the veterans school for the blind in Tucson AZ. I do much of my work on a talking computer, and I am also working on a novel on life in rural East Texas in the early sixties, from the point of view of a young black teen, paralelling the societies of then and now. And of course,…

God has really been dealing with me on this issue. As look out at the different churches Apostolic in particular it really saddens my heart to see that the church has lost its standards. It now looks like the world and acts just like the world. It used to be that when someone saw you they new that you represented holiness. No jewelry, pants, or makeup. Now when I look I can't tell a saint from a sinner. And when you are a part of a church that still up holds those standards you are considerd…

May God Bless you all,
The other day i was listening to two people discussing the bible, their conversation was that no on has scened God. One person said it was God that Moises saw the other said it was Jesus. That got me to thinking. Who was it? if you have any input please let me know. We are all here to help each other grow spiritual. Thank you all.
