Today, we learned that a friend of the family, a son, had shot and killed his girlfriend. Immediately, I became grieved in my spirit and my heart began to weep for all concerned. This goes a little deeper however.

My people are busy, but not for me; they are consumed with getting, but not with me. They have raised up other gods instead of me, praised me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
