6 LESSONS IN LEADERSHIP

The Advantages of Teamwork

Many of us are called into leadership positions, but do we really know what being a LEADER means? The definition of a leader is:

1. One that leads or conducts; a guide; a conductor.

2. A chief; a commander; a captain.

3. One who goes first.

Firstly, you CANNOT be a leader if you have no one to lead. By the world's standards, when we think of a leader we think of one who leads a group of people or one who has…

Christains that compromise their Intergrity

What do you think about devout Christains that attend church regularly, they pray, fast, have prayer meetings and fellowship dinners on a regular basis. Yet when it comes down to making a real decision that could possible impact another persons lively-hood then they compromise their intergrity, and without having any amount of compuction about it. I do understand that no one is perfect, however, Christain people have a bad tendency of doing things in the wrong way when they are always…

My daughter wishes she was WHITE... smh

Yesterday I was excessively delayed on the way to take my son and daughter to their football and cheer practices.

My daughter just haaaaaaaad to take her time performing an extreme makeover "Adolescent Edition". She had been at the waterpark all day and the nanny (sound's like wer'e rich doesn't it) washed and braided her hair. Apparently she felt that the braids looked too ethnic because while locked up in her room, she spent 20 minutes undoing and reorganizing them into a…

If God be for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things KJV.

What shall we then say ... What fairly follows from the facts stated? Or what conclusion shall we draw in regard to the power of Christ to support us in our trials from the considerations which have been stated?

If God be for us, Be on our side, or is… Continue

It Is What It Is

Unfortunately, things are just what they are , better yet things are what they seem. I've heard many people use the scripture " to call those things as though they were not " However somethings you just can't call , it's just what it is. The problem may then be what to we do when "it is what it is"? Well, we can always "close our eyes" put our fingers in our ears, or just simple put just pretend. Yet, there is one other solution confront ! I've heard people say well I'm not a confrontational… Continue

GETTING BACK TO HOLINESS

]MY HEART OR RATHER MY SPIRIT HAS GOTTEN TO A PLACE OF HEAVINESS, BECAUSE THE SAINTS OF GOD HAVE MOVED AWAY FROM THEIR FIRST LOVE, THE BEAUTY OF HOLINESS, THE BIBLE DECREES TO YOU AND I THAT WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN OR NO WOMAN WILL SEE THE FACE OF GOD. I LEARN THAT IT IS AN INWARD CHANGE THAT MUST MANIFEST OUTWARDLLY.HOLINESS IS JUST YOUR EVERYDAY LIFESTLYE THAT SHOULD BE LINED UP WITH THE WORD OF GOD, MY QUESTION TODAY IS. WHEN WILL THE CHURCH GET BACK TO PREACHING AND LIVING IN THE BEAUTY OF… Continue

Barking Up The Wrong Tree

Fancy sanctuaries, lofty steeples, clanging bells, air conditioned

halls, multi media projeectors and clean sound systems. The churches

are doing well... some even will soon implement debit machines so that

if you left the cheque book or the cash at home you won't have to worry

about not getting to pay your tithe, or make your offerings. Are we

really effective? How is that measured and determined then? Are we

scratching where no one is itching? Are we barking up… Continue

Just in case.....

Just in case you think that you are to hard for God.

Just in case you think that you have messed up beyond measure.

Just in case you feel that you are not good enough to be loved.

Just in case you have been led to believe that you are not to be honored.

Just in case you were told that you were and always will be good for nothing.

Just in case you are carrying around the burdens of misconceptions and falsities.

Just in case you are walking in the…

When Do You Hear God ?

Did someone ever ask you the question:How did you learn to hear God speak to you. Well, my answer is when i have come to say it's okay for my imperfection because god forgives all who falls short. However, i could really hear him when i can accept the painful things that he wanted me to correct in my life that felt good to me but weren't in line with the lord.It wasn't what i wanted to hear; it was what i needed to hear to be in tuned with the lord and hear him speak. It was the things i felt… Continue

ABuse

I am sure that you all have heard about the physical confrontation between Juanita Bynum and her estranged husband Bishop Thomas Weeks III. I have no clue as to what has gone on in there marriage or what has brought it to this point. I have read many blogs, most of them saying there are three sides to every story. I agree that there are more than one side to anything but that does not constitute a man ( a man of God ) physically beating his wife in puplic or in private. It takes a very weak man… Continue

Transition and Reposition

This is a time of transition in the body of Christ. My life right now is a prime example. The first thing the LORD did was tell me he was moving me. I said ok GOD, but what does that mean. I am married, so I asked what about my husband, he said he is going too. Next he told me he was moving us from the church body where we have worshipped for 31 years. He even told me the church we would be going to. The very next thing to happen, I was offered a job with another company in the same city…
